She has broad experience using a variety of different treatment modalities. Rosa believes that it is important to offer individualized care based on the client’s specific needs, concerns and preferences.
This includes an interactive, practical, solution-focused approach to help clients resolve current challenges such as depression and anxiety.

Dr. Monroy was born in El Salvador, Central America, and is fluent in both Spanish and English. He obtained his Medical Doctoral Degree from the Universidad de El Salvador in 1987.
After coming to the United States, he joined Family Practice Residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI, through Michigan State University in 2000. He then completed his Psychiatry Residency in 2003 at the Medical College of Virginia becoming Board Certified in 2008, and Re Certified in 2018.
He provides outpatient psychiatric care (to or for) adults and children with acute or chronic mental health problems, psychopharmacologic treatment, treatment planning, team reviews, and referrals for both in-patient and out-patient settings.
As a Medical Doctor, including 14 years’ experience as a Board Certified Psychiatrist, he has proven himself to be an invaluable asset to our practice and clients.
David is the Practice Manager and COO of Sunshine Psychiatry. He was born in Pennsylvania and brings a variety of experiences to our practice. David is a Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy for 9 years, worked for the PA Department of Corrections, is a certified PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and was a volunteer firefighter/EMT. He sp

David has successfully started and run three business and has proven himself to be a valued asset. His excellent communication skills and experience are a valued asset at our clinic. David is the first person most of our clients meet.
Clara is the Office Assistant at Sunshine Psychiatry. She recently graduated from Gateway High School and will be attending college to work on her BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurism. Her pleasent voice and demeanor are a valued part of our team and her attention to detail is an added strength. Clara truely represents the future of our clinic.
One of our newest additions to our staff. Peaches is a apricot toy poodle and has proven to be a valuable therapy pet for many of our clients. "Peach Therapy" will be a regular at our office.

Many psychiatric medications can affect both your physical health and your mental health, so it is important that we continue to keep an eye on your physical health even during televisits. We will receive an update on your physical health every month to ensure you are provided with a tailored treatment plan.
