I was referred to Sunshine Psychiatry through my health insurance. My inicial appointment was in person with an ARNP in the Fort Myers office. After that initial appointment, I was referred to schedule an appointment with Dr. Monroy. I was hesitant to consult with him, first, because he is a male and then, hesitant because this was my only to possibly learn how to live a happy and productive life. Even though Dr. Monroy has helped me a lot during the past year, and he has gradually being able to get me out of a very dark places, “I know that I still have a long way to go”. Dr. Monroy actually listens to you. He doesn’t want to just push medication he actually talks with you from his personal experiences and life. He recommended a book for me to read that has been so helpful.

The service and compassion of everyone at this office is astounding. You are treated as if they truly care about you and your progress. I have been to many psychiatrists and this is the best practice I have ever been to. Rosa helped me when no one else could. She really listened and prescribed the. Perfect medication for me.
